The Corporate Flight Attendant Community was started by Matt Keegan [pictured below] on August 15, 2002. At that time he was employed by New World Jet Corporation, a strategic business partner for Jet Aviation Business Jets, Inc. In his role as provider of both technical and creative services for the two companies, Matt was the editor of Jet Aviation's Flight Attendant News a publication he launched with Vallerie Davies-Lee in 1997.

During the summer of 2002 Matt was looking for additional sources to draw upon to help spruce up his quarterly publication. He came across one message board online, but there was little else available that was exclusively directed toward business flight attendants. Matt then made a decision to launch a message board on MSN groups, thus the new community was born.

In January 2003, sensing that there was still so much untapped potential, Matt purchased a web address [www.corporateflyer.net] and began designing a new site containing both web pages and a message board. The following month a refreshed community was launched containing the web pages and a new message board community hosted by EZBoard.

Matt is the owner of Matthew C Keegan, LLC a provider of communication strategies and solutions to businesses and individuals. In May 2005, Matt launched a new site -- The Article Writer -- a  writing site for clients seeking assistance with articles, web content, press releases, and more. Matt is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey holding a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Matt has been involved in business aviation since January 1992 and is an NBAA member; he is not nor has he ever been a corporate flight attendant.

In May 2007, www.corporateflyer.net was acquired by WM Media.
