The following may be useful for training purposes and highlights the importance of being aware of ditching equipment, e.g. life-jackets, in airports close to water. Fortunately, everyone walked away from this overrun.

In the video, you will notice that the passengers or crew did not don life jackets. Futhermore, and more concerningly, was that the engines started up again in the water, possibly due to a short circuit.

Mmmm yeah I guess thats what you get for not having that 3rd crewmember onboard!! Too bad there is not much room for a FA on that Citation...hehe.

I noted the response time of passers by in their boats...they were on the scene pretty quickly and the pax and crew didnt even seem to get their feet wet, by the looks of things they just stepped off the a/c right on to the boat...much better option than sticking on a life vest and going for a swim to the shoreline. I guess you could call that a perfect example of a "controlled evacuation". :mozilla_cool:

Cool video! Hadn't realized 'til now that Bader Field is that close in to casino row.

As far as a flight attendant onboard, she'd have to sit on a pax lap to fit.

Thanks for sharing, Mark.
