Is anyone else watching this on TV? So many crews go in and out of London--and a lot of crews I know have been flying there this summer. Yesterday was a day of celebration with the announcement about the Olympics and now this....

Hoping everyone is okay. I know I have taken the tube many times to go to Harrod's.

It's a sad day when a place we consider reasonably safe is attacked. Stay safe.

This recent Terrorist attack reminds us all that an attack can happen at anytime, anywhere. As a frequent visitor to London, my heart goes out to all the injured and their families. I used to feel safe in London, it being one of my favorite destinations, in a way I still do, but I will be more careful, as I hope everyone else will.....
STAY SAFE OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone can put up with these cowardly intimidation tactics, its the Brits!

All I can say is that I feel for the crews that are stuck in the middle of London shopping at Harrods unable to get out when their passengers are trying in vain to get in touch with them to leave the country!!!!

It's about 11:00 am on July 9th, where I am and I just found out about this.

How sad and scary. I'm at a loss of words. I pray that everyone in our community of friends will be safe and fly safe. A moment of silence to reflect for the innocent at the hands of terrorists around the world.

United we stand. God Bless Great Britain.

Hi, all. I was flying today so I missed a lot of the news. I am deeply saddened. England has been a terrific friend to the United States, especially since 9/11, and I feel as if someone has hurt a member of my family.

I have flown to London on a regular basis, shop at Edgeware and I feel as if I have been punched in the stomach--again. I was in LONDON during the Madrid train bombings and it was then I vowed to stop taking mass transportation. Years ago, I was a frequent crew member in Israel and there was a time when buses, know to carry tourists, were a common target. I wonder know, if public transport in both Spain and the UK--and the recent attacks---mean we should not travel on the trains and buses. That applies here at home, too, as I frequently take the NYC subway.

Warm wishes to all the Brits and their families. They seem to be taking these targeted attacks "well," for lack of a better word. Prayers for anyone killed, wounded AND their loved ones tonight....and undying hopes for peace. Travel safe everyone.

I'm saying prayers for anyone touched by this event.

Also, please remember to contact anyone struggling to cope with 9/11 since an event like this will bring back many emotions from the past.

I will not let the terrorists stop my movements and plan to continue to travel on all forms of transportation.

I agree with Jerseygirl, I dont take mass transit either. I was in Madrid during the most recent car bombing at a confrence center - I was at a hotel about a block away. Way too close for comfort but I was very furtunate to be safe. I couldnt believe the erie silence after it happened and watching how it effected the local people.

I really feel for the people in London who were killed, hurt and present during the bombings. It is still hard, as an American, to understand that the average person in many other countries has to deal with this each day. Just the simple act of going to work can get someone killed. It is very sad. I give the Brittish alot of credit for being so strong.

As a Brit, I would like to say thank you to everyone for your support.

It is very sad here and it will take time to change that but we area strong lot and we will not be beaten

My thought is this - Allah may be merciful, but only to those who deserve it - those bombers and other terrorists like them will have found that out to their peril - may they burn in hell for evermore. ( sorry if that offends anyone - but they deserve no mercy)

Happy and safe flying to you all, and remember - when you have a bad day at work - it is just that .... a bad day.

xx

Ardilla, you express my sentiments exactly.

Killing in the name of "God" certainly does not mean that it is blessed by God. These thugs are terrorists and I hope it stirs up the Muslim community to denounce such practices.

Maybe it will prevent other impressionable young people from being bewitched by these nasty, evil, religious phonies.

Blessings to the British!
