Watch out for those tiny "air purifiers" people wear! Apparently a recent cabin fire on a B-737 Continental flight may have been caused by a lithium battery in one of these units. Only minor injuries; the cabin crew put out the fire.

Cabin crew used their halon extinguisher on the fire. Pax doused the area with water. (As a reminder, lithium fires and water do NOT mix. The result can be hydrogen gas, a significant fire risk.)
