Day rate pay ...

Is it common to be paid your day rate when commercialing (is that even a word?) to the aircraft?

Anyone going to be in Nassau Easter week?? :mozilla_cool:

From all that I have heard, your pay begins the same day your trip starts. If you commercial in on the same day then the answer is yes, otherwise it is no.

day rate

I would say yes if the company is flying you and paying for it. Maybe not only if ,as some people express on thier resumes they will commute at their own expense, but I dont think many people do that although I have seen it before..you get paid even if you have a day off in the middle of a trip........In regards to Naussa: going there tomorrow, oh well

Cloudchaser, I will be in Nassau Easter Weekend. Where do you stay? And were you there last weekend?

Thanks for responses guys!

I haven't been to Nassau since I worked on a cruise ship 20 years ago.
Used to go to an english pub, Green Shutters, for Shepard's Pie and Guiness. Will have to explore and see if it's still there.

Flyingjen, I will PM you as soon as I receive final/confirmed trip sheet.

Are you a diver? The Bahamas offers great shark diving ... can't wait!

Six sit days ... I'm excited about this trip! Can you say cocktails at sunset?!
