Default What does your company do?

Here's a question for those of you that work for companies that charter aircraft out to various clients:

Do your companies include ANY catering as part of the per flight hour charge? (Coffee, tea, anything?) Or is it all a charge on-top of the charter cost?

I have been asked to inquire by a "friend" of mine.

Happy flying all!

When I worked charter we included our "standard stock" of coffee, tea, water and a variety of soda. We also included a snack basket of granola bars, chips, trail mix, peanuts, etc. We also included a limited amount of beer or other drinks if requested. Anything outside of this was extra.

NO to question #1.........YES to question #2.

The Tea / Coffee / Snacks are usually onboard....if you are working on a well stocked a/c.

Default basic items

When I used to fly charter we provided snacks and non-alcoholic beverages as part of our service. Any kind of meal is charged as a pass thru expense from the caterer to the client. If the FBO threw in their mark up then they paid that too, but we never marked up catering.

Default Included on board

We supply standard commissary on board the aircraft free of charge. It includes standard alcohol, beer, wine, soft drinks, juices, water , coffee, tea (Essentially all beverages) . Also inlcudes all snacks, (popcorn, chocolate, nuts, cookies, etc... ) Any extra catering (ie. meals) is extra cost. If we go direct to the caterers we just charge their amount, We do not mark up the catering. If we are on the road, and the FBO orders catering for us, they generally mark it up and that cost is inlcuded with the caterer bill.
