Default Anyone going to be at the Kentucky Derby?

If we can get tickets at a resonable price, would anyone like to see the ponies and enjoy a mint julip? \/

Default Kentucky

Sorry, this horse won't be there. I am too friggin' slow for that type of race!!

The mint julip sounds lovely. Enjoy the race.

Ahhhhhhhh...I think they should have a horse named after you in your absence... BIG FINE FAST APPALOOSA...(Appaloosa's are usually really slow, but this one would be fast as lightning!!!)..I love the underdogs...!!! Too slow. you can keep up with the best of them!!!

Street Sense captures Kentucky Derby

Reigning champion Street Sense struck the front at the top of Churchill Downs stretch under regular rider Calvin Borel and extended his lead over Hard Spun to score an impressive 2 ΒΌ-length victory in the 133rd running in the Kentucky Derby under the historic Twin Spires.

Street Sense's handlers will collect $1.45 million of the $2.2 million purse for the victory over 19 other three-year-olds.

The race favourite at 9-2 odds, Street Sense paid $11.80 for a $2 win ticket.

The next race in the Triple Crown series will be the Preakness Stakes at Baltimore's Pimlico Race Course on May 19.
