Default casablanca catering...

Anyone been through Casablanca lately and used the handler for catering? My pax want to stop there for lunch, while we change out pilots, on our way back from Uganda to the east coast. I won't be able to get off, so I'm kinda stuck with using catering, plus my pilots are not "grocery shoppers." Thanks for any help.

Default ugh

I would call way ahead, ask the handler where you can get the best food/restaurant and produce /grocier, close by.
Get a menu from the restaurant (faxed to you), call the head chef, have stuff ready to pick up. Get whole fruits, like melons and pineapples, mangos, wash well,, there are some organic washes, and prep yourself, carry a good sharp knife. I would be careful with already cut fruits.
Keep it simple, grilled meats, fish, steamed veg, and a few local (not too spicy) dishes.

Ask for the handler to have a car and driver waiting for you when you get there, to take you to the places the handler suggested. Carry $$ for tips. Carry your foils/plastic containers, and a cooler with ice.
I haven't been there, but I would do this anywhere 3rd world if I didn't have a good recomendation.
Or find out where the pax are going and use that restaurant, through the back door.
Hopefully it will be way easier, and someone has more experience with that neck of the woods, and will give you better suggestions.
Excuse my spelling!
Good luck!

Default Casablanca

Use the Sheraton, have them order directly from there.
