outside of an active war zone, as a corporate flight attendant.

Petro, Kamchatka, Russia......One LONG week. We did not leave hotel, too sketchy. Crew and I watched alot of movies on our computers, and played alot of cards...

No were not, it was a scheduled trip. The crew had been there the year before, so we knew to take 'survival kits' with us.

10 days flying around Pakistan...the northern part of the country is absolutley beautiful ( looks like Alberta Rockies) but very scary..Karachi was awful ( there was a suicide bombing a block from our hotel), Islamabad....actually wasnt too bad..
how about 2 weeks in Angola...confined to hotel of course , had a bodyguard assigned to me there.
but thats why I love this job...the opportunity to go places I would never get to see, as a civilian;-)

I still say Haiti.....and now it looks like I get to go back there in January. Have been working flights in and out of Havana this past week.....interesting...different....
