Default commuting

I drive to the SF bay area from LA. And I love the drive. I do it twice a month. Finally a time to be alone and listen to books on tape. I do it twice a month. My family lives there so I have a second life up there. It seems that I am still the flavor of the month at this one company so I don't really work much else where. I keep thinking I will again work out of my own town in LA, but this company gives me trips weeks ahead of time. I can actually plan a life around my flying. But then again, I only work about 10 to 15 days a month. The last 2 months have a bit much at 17 days.

I would not like to airline into a trip. I carry way too much, grills, vases, plates, salad bowls and the etc...

I commute to phx from las about twice a month. It really depends on the trip whether I drive or comercial there. Like GK, I don't mind driving at all, I actually find the drive therapeutic. LOL!

Good question Drew, I was wondering the same thing.
GK- How many hours is that drive on the avg? How about your drive flycorp? I enjoy driving alone also.

i commute to Europe at least twice a month. I work exclusively for one client. My trips are always 10-16 days in length, then I am home for a week or two. Not everyone would like this arrangement but it agrees with me.

I live in Ft. Lee, NJ right by the GW Bridge but I fly out of Hartford, Albany and Philly when needed.

In 2004 I flew out of Baltimore but that was a one time gig.
