Default Anyone going to SAN for the NBAA event??

I can't decide ...

I'd love to hear from those of you who've attended in the past what you think of this year's two day schedule. There are really only two 'topics' I'm interested in.

Also, is it really a good place to network? OR is the annual NBAA conference a better event to 'meet and greet'?

Thanks for your feedback! PM me if you prefer.

Default I'm going!

Hi Cloudchaser,

I have decided that I am going to the Flt. Att. Conference. Feedback I have read from the past few years sounds like most have an enjoyable time. I went to the NBAA Conference in Orlando twice and made some great contacts. I am looking forward to meeting some fellow flight attendants and networking.

Regards,
Falcon

I will be there too. It is great to meet and network with other F/As.
Most of us do not get to meet each other as much, as it is usually us and the pilots.
I went last year, and made a commitment to myself to try to go every year. It is a great experience both socially and educational.

I was going to go but as of this week, can no longer afford to. Which is unfortunate because it would be nice to network for a job in the coming months.

If anyone wants to pass the word along for me though, I'd be very appreciative of it. And therr'd be a Twix bar in it for whoever finds me a good job. \/

Anyway, please come back and tell us how it all went out there and what it was like this year.

It would be a shame to not attend this conference. As you have read, the speakers / caterers offer great information. There will be over 200 attendees - from management - lead F/As - contract and new F/As as well as Flt. Techs.

The Friday evening networking event at the Sheraton is the place to be if you're looking to make additional contacts in this industry. Bring plenty of business cards / resumes!

As noted in a previous post, I am trying to help those who want to share the cost of a room to help keep costs down. Email me if interested as I've had a few inquiries.

And lastly - being in San Diego in June - it's a beautiful location right on the harbor! :-)

Default conference

I think it is worth going. Esp, for you, CC, you live in San Diego and are new to corporate. Great contacts for future jobs. Lots of lead FAs are there that can hire you as contract in the future.

I wish I could go but I have a trip. Everyone have a good time.
