Default Nice Update

Two things:

1 - I got my catering order from Private Catering....a few things were wrong. I asked for fresh oatmeal cookies and got chocolate something out of a box, I asked that no butter, mayo etc be put on the sandwiches, they had mystery sauce on them... I requested SPECIFIC wine...and got some crappy chablis when I specifically stated NO chablis. Presentation was beautiful, crew meals were perfect...I never saw the bill....

2 - When the DGAC (French FAA) got on the plane they were there for about 45 minutes checking everything from the safety briefing cards to every seat to check the date on the life vests. They also checked all the aircraft documentation, asked for the pilots licenses AND asked me for MY FLIGHT ATTENDANT LICENSE... I have one, but was surprised when they requested this. \\This DGAC person was annoying at best..and she may have just been doing what she does for European planes, I don't know..but just in case have some documentation with you from FACTS or Flight Safety if you do not have an FAA license.

Default Nice Catering

Thanks for the information, FS.

It is always good to hear about everyones experience...especially overseas. Glad to have the heads up about the French FAA.

Kinda sad that you ask for sandwiches and cookies and they can't even get that right. And you would think in the south of France, you could have something done nicely.
