Default Another Scam

My girlfriend ask me to post this for her. :fright:

I am having a problem posting on the Corporate F/A board. Would you post the following.

Beware of a company out of Tulsa looking for 727-200 VIP flight attendants. They are requesting photo ID which is a no-no and dangerous. On doing a web search for the company and the person who sent the email, it was found that the DEA has some issues with them. Seem the gentleman was arrested for money laundering with narcotics money and faces 20 years in jail.

Yikes! they contacted me but I never responded. We really have to be careful out there. There are so many ID scams going on. My brother works as a company computer genius out in California and says that the russian mafia is behind a lot of the computer scams these days that are searching for your identification.
Everybody watch out and never send ID.

:fright:
It is a sick world sometimes.
Russian Mafia? CIA needs to do something about that!

I just got an email from someone who saw my resume/ picture and wanted something other than my ID!! A "companion" Do they think we offer full service? Gross, I deleted it quickly.

Maybe having resume/ pic. online is not a good idea. I have never received work from it.

You know there is a new 727 VIP start up supposedly starting up in Atlanta also, I think its called ready jet go. I wonder if they are legit or a scam also. Let me know if you know anything about em. And just curious why hasnt the post under employment for the Roanoke corporate FA been removed if its a scam? Now im im not implying or accusing or being mean Im just curious and cautious and if im wrong I apologize in advance.. The person who has posted that job in that category..are they a legit member? Im only looking out for all of us is why i ask. Safe travels to all.

Default Ready Jet Go

Drew, here is some info on ready jet go.... They operate under Boston Maine airways certificate (from what I have found) 3 aircraft in NJ, IL and CA. I saw an advertisement for them in in the AJC a few weeks ago so I sent a resume.

Default Rjg

I had about 4 phone conversations with RJG for their Director of In-Flight. They anticipate start up the 2nd quarter of 2008, they will be flying the Boston Maine flights and most of the flying will be like Miami Air. They did a big recruiting day in CLT about a month ago and selected their first class of f/a's. They will have one person on the flight who is only in charge of catering...and that person will not work as a f/a. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will give you the email contact for the main guy. They really do not have all of their financing in place and their approval from the FAA is months away. I turned down the position even though the salary was pretty good.
