Default Job Ops & Info

I received info from a friend of mine who says the BED job is with Venetian, the Vegas casino operator. Apparently the owner lives in Boston & this is for his private jet.

I have also heard that Flexjet & Flight Options are hiring. So many people want to work for Netjets, yet these 2 companies are worth exploring too.

www.flightoptions.com

Plus, Vulcan is still hiring per diem flight attendants in Seattle:

A little more friendly advice: don't forget to follow up with a contact one month later. A new gal I have come to know did just that & got her first flying assignment today!

Default Venetian/Sands

Yes, it is the Venetian/Sands Group.

Word has it that they try to low-ball F/A’s salaries, and that they work you very hard.

Remember to stay focused and please, keep the bar high – don’t allow these operators to bring our industry down, demand what you are worth!

Demi,

Thank God someone said something about this!!! Too often new girls/guys will "do anything" to get into their first corp. jet for the experience. Holding the bar and being paid for what you are worth is the way you make your living. Period. It is the same when your friend who is, say a hair stylist for a living (professional) for example cuts your hair and you expect her/him to give you a great deal $$ just because you are friends. Forget it, s/he's a professional and s/he deserves to be paid the going rate just like everyone else. Nothing less. Taking a job, in my 12 years of flying for whatever "they" are offering proves this isn't the business for you.

PS - I cannot seem to the get the clapping icon where I want it..that's for you, Demi. Well said! The other icon, I think you get the picture. =D> [-X

Just to let every one know, Flight Options is not hiring, I just got laid off from them. They let go of 6 flight attendants, and did not mention anything about being called back. I also know that Flex Jet just hired 6 flight attendants.

Default I am sorry.

I am very sorry to hear about that ellieg. You definitely are in a position to know. Oddly I only spoke to my friend about FLOPS a few weeks earlier!

Give Delta Air Elite a try when you get a chance: http://www.airelite.com/

They used to give priority to Delta F/A's but I don't believe that holds true anymore.

Flightworks was hiring recently too:

Good luck!

Thanks for the info Betty.

The one good thing about being laid off is at least it's the summer. I can go out and enjoy the weather. :-)

Keep up the great attitude! We all know going into this crazy biz that there is the possiblity of getting laid off. I am sorry this happened to you. It sounds like you are shaking it of with class! I've been laid off 3 times in my 12 year career (private and commercial). I wish you the very best. There is an old saying, I know you have heard it, "when one door shuts, another opens." Good luck! :mozilla_cool:
